Working under Construction Manager Austin Aeocom/McClier, complex electrical systems were installed in six buildings totaling more than 200,000 square feet across the 40-acre college campus. The 18-month project included systems for the mechanical plant; swimming pool; student services and academic and finance buildings; science laboratories; athletic field; parking lot; cafeteria; gymnasium; and center for distance learning. The scope of work included the installation of a campus-wide 12.47 kV medium voltage distribution system, as well as the installation of all duct banks, vaults and substations. It also encompassed internal communications systems, such as intercom, clocks, paging, voice/data, lighting protection and audio-visual connections to the campus television station. |
