Working with Berglund Construction to ensure proper implementation, this 18 month project included the installation of power and lighting for a 64 room bed tower addition. Other systems installed included fire alarm, nurse call, sound and paging, and rescue assistance. In order to power the addition, two 12 kV substations, two 3200 amp 480 volt services, and one 750 kW backup generator were installed. Working closely with Geneva Power, the existing medium voltage systems was upgraded without any interruption of power to this critical care facility. Connelly Electric worked diligently with both Delnor Hospital representatives and Berglund Construction to emphasize project safety and training. |
