Warehouse Manager - Full Time

With a large portfolio of active projects across 9 major market sectors throughout Illinois and the surrounding states, Connelly Electric, Co. is one of the leading design build electrical contractors in the Chicagoland area. Connelly Electric is seeking a professional who is confident, self-motivated, and passionate about what they do. The function of this role is to consistently manage, plan, and coordinate the operations of facilities and projects.

 

Essential Duties

  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Project Management, and Field Staff to execute deliveries of tools, material, and equipment to job sites in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure a positive experience between customers, vendors, and employees with timely, professional, and courteous work on and off site
  • Set and communicate expectations while providing support to the warehouse team
  • Following and enforcing safe work procedures
  • Track warehouse inventory
  • Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse, office equipment, and power tools
  • Operate and maintain forklift & scissor lift
  • Shipping, receiving equipment and materials
  • Manage day-to-day operations of warehouse department
  • Coordinating activities with other departments

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in construction or electrical industry preferred
  • Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly skilled communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines
  • Ability to be self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player
  • Excellent attention to detail
